Personalized Service

This is a local business, serving northern and central New Jersey because I will personally measure, design, deliver, and install your custom radiator cover.

What is the process?

  • You select the general design features you want, send the measurements of your radiator, and receive an estimated price.

  • I come to your home to take exact measurements of both radiator and its immediate surroundings, we discuss design specifics, and agree to a final price.

  • I purchase the materials, construct the radiator cover, sand, prime, and paint it in the color of your choice.

  • I personally deliver and install your new radiator cover to your satisfaction.

Why The Home Visit?

One thing I learned when constructing my own radiator covers is that every radiator is different. Radiators are often present in older homes, so each room may have different baseboards and trim to work around. Maybe there’s a window or door nearby that needs worked around. In my own home, I have one radiator that had maybe 1/8” of clearance for a bathroom door, and another that was along the stairs to the second floor. Each of these required unique solutions separate from simply measuring the radiator itself. That is why I visit each home—and limit the service area of my business—so that I can create a bespoke radiator cover that perfectly fits your specific home.

Handmade Just For You

I purchase supplies for each individual customer and make each cover by hand. I do not have a warehouse of materials or a factory with laser-cutters and commercial paint sprayers. This allows me the freedom to create a customized solution specific to you, but it also means there is an amount of variation between each cover I make. I consider this a feature, not a bug, but I want my customers to go in with open eyes knowing that I cannot produce exact copies. The blessing and curse of using real wood and building by hand is that every piece is different.
